New Member ID Cards Took Effect Jan. 1, 2016 January 1, 2016 As of Jan. 1, 2016, Samaritan Health Plan and InterCommunity Health Network CCO (IHN-CCO) members have begun using newly issued member ID cards. This change affects all plans: Samaritan Advantage HMO (Medicare) Samaritan Choice Plans IHN-CCO (Full Plan, Mental/Dental, Mental Only) Samaritan Employer Group Plans (Oregon Standard Bronze, Silver, Gold; Health & Wellbeing, Everyday Choices, New Performance) The cards have been updated due to the recent change to a new pharmacy benefit manager, and now include additional information, as well as visual differences to make them easier to distinguish. In addition, Choice Plans’ members now have an expanded health plan network that includes more providers throughout Oregon, and additional health care professional service locations in seven other states: Alaska, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Washington and Wyoming. Walgreens has also been added as a network pharmacy outside of Benton, Lincoln, Linn, Marion and Polk Counties for Choice Plan members.
