Adult Day Services: A Valuable Local Resource December 16, 2019 Do you have patients in your practice who could benefit from health and social services or know caregivers in need of respite and support? Did you know Corvallis is home to the only certified adult day center program in Linn, Benton and Polk counties? Grace Center for Adult Day Services is a nonprofit organization providing health services, social services, memory care and post-rehabilitation to seniors and adults with disabilities. Grace Center collaborates with PCP’s, specialists, therapists and family members to provide quality care in a safe and nurturing environment. The health and social services offer a host of activities and therapies including shower services, exercise classes, woodworking, art, music, gardening and much more. The staff specialize in memory care, working with individuals with dementia and Alzheimer’s in a secure and calm, yet engaging environment. Grace Center is also the only adult day center in Oregon providing post-rehabilitation care for adults with physical or cognitive disabilities due to stroke, traumatic brain injury or major surgery. Grace Center offers services not only to seniors but adults of all ages with disabilities. They are open 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Grace Center is Medicaid certified and accepts Medicaid, VA, long term care insurance, and offers a scholarship program.
