Meet the Team: Kari Shinn August 20, 2024 Kari Shinn is a Broker Sales Executive at Samaritan Health Plans. She develops and conducts online and in-person broker trainings. She appreciates these opportunities to connect with our broker network to review and get feedback on operational changes, plan designs and benefit offerings.Kari initially thought she’d be a teacher, so she values the opportunity to educate brokers on what our plans have to offer. Kari enjoys collaborating with partners and organizations to better understand how to serve the Medicare population. In addition to selling plans, Kari also works with other departments at Samaritan to improve the member experience and develop marketing materials. Kari has worked at Samaritan for over 16 years, starting as an inside sales representative.Kari is married with two young children. She enjoys planning outings with her family, traveling and staying active with her kids.
