Use ProviderConnect to Check Claims Status

ProviderConnect, your provider portal from Samaritan Health Plans, offers user-friendly tools and information to support you in providing quality care to your patients. One of the most helpful tools is the ability to check on the status of the claims you have submitted.

If the claim is showing a pending status 11 or 15, this indicates your claim has not gone through final processing. Before submitting a duplicate claim, keep in mind the following time frames per line of business:

  • Samaritan Choice: Ninety percent of all clean claims adjudicate no later than 30 days after the date we receive the claim.
  • InterCommunity Health Network CCO: Ninety percent of all clean claims adjudicate no later than 45 days after the date we receive the claim.
  • Employer Group: Ninety percent of all clean claims adjudicate no later than 30 days after the date we receive the claim.
  • Samaritan Advantage Health Plan HMO: Ninety percent of all clean claims adjudicate no later than 30 days after the date we receive the claim.

Remember to continue using ProviderConnect to confirm whether or not claims submitted for processing have be received by Samaritan Health Plan Operations (SHPO).
