Use the UB Modifier for School-based Health Center Services October 2, 2015 InterCommunity Health Network CCO (IHN-CCO) requires that school-based health center (SBHC) providers use modifier “UB” on services provided in a SBHC setting to aid with tracking. SBHCs should use the modifier for every service provided. This will help IHN-CCO report on the utilization and service array being provided in this setting. As health system transformation moves forward, it is essential that IHN-CCO identify all SBHC services provided to IHN-CCO members, so that we can better understand the importance of the delivery model of school-based health clinics.
