Provider Directory Verification

Samaritan Health Plan is excited to share the ability for providers to automatically provide real time updates to their demographic data that is published in the Samaritan Health Plan provider directory. This functionality enables Samaritan Health Plans to meet CMS requirements that we contact our network providers every quarter to verify that we are publishing the most up-to-date directory information. This is in partnership with ProviderLenz.

The Process

You will receive an email with a quick link to validate any providers under your review through the ProviderLenz system (no login required). Telephonic outreach will be only conducted as a last resort at the end of automated outreach for any providers/provider offices with pending

Making Updates & Validating

Visit ProviderLenz to watch a short video on how the automated provider data validation technology works. Then look for a “Validation Request” message in your email each quarter. We appreciate your partnership and feedback!

To understand why this process is now required, refer to the No Surprises Act – Provider Directory Update (English). The Act regulates the responsibility of both payers and providers regarding provider information that appears in payer provider directories.
