Provider Directory Verification

Samaritan Health Plans strives ensure accurate provider directories for all SHP members and streamline your part of the verification process. Each quarter providers will be requested to update their information along with directions on how to attest and verify their information with Samaritan Health Plan. Providers are required to review their current information, make any needed changes or attest that their information is accurate.

To understand why this process is now required, refer to the No Surprises Act – Provider Directory Update (English). The Act regulates the responsibility of both payers and providers regarding provider information that appears in payer provider directories. ​Samaritan Health Plans (SHP) is currently in the process of collaborating with a new vendor to enhance the accuracy of our provider directories and simplify the verification process for our providers. This initiative aligns with the mandate that requires health plans and providers maintain precise and up-to-date provider directory information.”  Additional information will be available soon and will be communicated to our network providers.
