Take Advantage of Provider Connect 

Count on Provider Connect to make your life easier:

  • Assign members of IHN-CCO and Samaritan Advantage to other primary care providers, access daily reports in real-time, and track all assignment activities.
  • See payment details for all of your claims, including the check or transaction number.
  • Search claims information by provider, member or date of service.
  • Submit your prior authorization requests online and check their status.
  • Access the Specialty Fusion platform for provider-administered specialty and oncology drug prior authorization requests.
  • Get the details you need for coordination of benefits (COB) for your patients, including effective date of other coverage.

And, because Provider Connect is accessed through Oregon’s OneHealthPort, you can access other payers’ portals with just one login. 

Prior Authorizations for Medical Procedures

Contracted providers with Samaritan Health Plans are to submit all prior authorization requests for medical procedures through our automated provider portal.

All contracted providers are to submit all prior authorization requests for medical procedures through our automated provider portal — Provider Connect.

Non-contracted providers may continue to fax their submissions for medical procedure authorization requests.

Prior Authorizations for Pharmacy

All contracted and non-contracted providers are to submit prior authorization requests for provider-administered specialty and oncology drugs through the Specialty Fusion platform. Contracted providers can access this platform through Provider Connect.

Any prior authorization requests submitted by fax will be returned to the provider for resubmission through Provider Connect.

Retail pharmacy requests can be submitted using the Medication Exception/Prior Authorization form (English).
